2 Year Old Bull
This bull’s tag number is 19x25. D.O.B April 21st, 2019. He was born, bred, and raised on our ranch in Southern Missouri, on KY31 Fescue pastures with no supplements.
If one were to go by Igenity Lab’s DNA profile probabilities for millions of DNA submissions, he qualifies as a very low birthweight bull, and the likelihood for his calves to be born without assistance is very high. Those stats taken together make this bull an excellent choice to utilize with heifers. Igenity Lab also gave 19x25 the highest possible ranking for the likelihood of his daughters to calve their first calf unassisted.
19x25's dam, a red cow #1467, is an amazing cow. She's usually one of the first cows to "slick off" every spring and she had her 2nd calf on the ground by the time she was 19 months old. She is a registered South Poll Cow (waiting on her Reg#) and the daughter of #341, a bull that Ralph Voss raised and highlighted on his website, and was a son of Broadway (a legend in the breed). She (#1467) is 7 years old this year. She has had 6 great calves in those 7 years and has a great udder. She earned our designation of a “2+3” cow, which means she had her first two calves within three years of her birth. And she bred back and calved her 2nd calf within a year of her first calf on KY31 fescue pastures without supplement.
19x25’s sire was #1737, a red bull we raised that exhibited signs of early maturing and high testosterone. As a two year old, #1737 bred the 2nd most females out of the whole bull battery that year.
Price includes Trich test and breeding soundness exam.
19x25 is eligible to be registered as 3/8 blood. We can register him with the South Poll Association for you for $200.
