South Poll Bull - 2.5 years old
This bull’s tag number is 20x13. D.O.B 04/04/2020. He was born, bred, and raised on our ranch in Southern Missouri, on KY-31 Fescue pastures with no supplements (except salt and mineral), as was his Dam and Sire. These pictures were taken two weeks after breeding season (July-August) this year, definitely his "work clothes".
20x13 has a good disposition (not overly friendly nor flighty), qualifies as a very low birthweight bull via Igenity DNA lab profile, as well as a very high likelihood of producing daughters who will calve their first calf unassisted.
20x13's dam, a black cow #1841, has a perfect udder, slick hide, and great hormonal balance and disposition.
20x13's sire, 1x17, is a son of #341, a bull that Ralph Voss raised and highlighted on his website, and who was a son of Broadway (one of the few named bulls of the South Poll breed). 1x17 has been the top breeder in our herd since he was 2 years old, siring the most calves of the whole battery for a 220+ cow mob.
Price includes Trich test and breeding soundness exam.
20x13 is eligible to be registered (3/4 blood - pending dam registry). We can register him with the South Poll Association for you for $200.
